COURSE OUTLINE: Designed by female law enforcement officer. The goal of this course is to impart the skills and knowledge required to instill confidence in shooting and in real-life situations. Students will develop improved firearms skills using CQC defensive firearms tactics through this challenging training education concept.
COURSE OVERVIEW: The program provides an opportunity to train under a comfortable learning environment on the range and in the classroom with other females and with all-female instructors. This integrated course is designed to train women to react quickly and effectively to deadly encounters and to give females the skills to engage lethally threatening situations with confidence.
SUBJECTS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Enhance shooters basic firearms techniques with accuracy
- Develop defensive pistol skills in close quarters
- Shooting with movement
- Various shooting positions and places
- Presentation from concealment
- Balance shooting speed with accuracy
- Talking Points/discussion on real life situations
- Utilize practical application through Scenario Based Training (SBT)
Students Required Equipment: Brimmed hat(baseball hat), ear and eye protection, pants with belt loops with pockets, belt, holster, concealment holster, handgun, minimum of three magazines, 600 rounds of practice handgun ammunition. Ample water and simple carbohydrates recommended for each day.
PREREQUISITES: Each student must be familiar with and able to demonstrate the safe handling of firearms.
